Pouring latex is ideal for either mould making or skinning a puppet. If mixed with acrylic colours, pouring latex can be painted in thin layers over a sponge body of a puppet to replicate skin. Perfect for coating wire fabricated hands (see the Animation Toolkit ‘Toots’ build or ‘Ray’ build for details below).  

Application: paint in thin layers to create either a mould or skin. Pigment with acrylic colour if desired. Dust with talcum powder when finished to prevent tackiness / sticky finish.
