About Customs, Duties & Taxes

Animation Toolkit does not charge United Kingdom Value Added Tax (VAT) on international orders. When ordering from Animation Toolkit, you're responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country.

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; Animation Toolkit has no control over these charges, nor can Animation Toolkit predict what they may be.

Customs offices in some countries may require the importer of record to provide identification before releasing the shipment.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

In the event that a recipient refuses to pay the import taxes, customs duties and fees then Animation Toolkit can not be held responsible for the safe return of the goods. In most cases, faliure to pay the import taxes, customs duties and fees will result in the destruction of the parcel in the destination country and therefore Animation Toolkit can not offer a refund on the sale or shipping value.

Refunds are avilable to all customers who receive their parcels and wish to return them. Refunds will be issued once products arrive back with Animation Toolkit. Customers are responsible for the safe packaging, cost and return of all goods to Animation Toolkit.

Non Payment of Duties and Non-Refundable Shipping Fees:

  • Shipping fees on the non payment of duties are non-refundable, including the outward-bound package (to your destination/address) and the return fee (usually the same as the outward-bound cost).
  • Both shipping fees will be deducted from the final refund of goods.

Terms & Conditions

Each item in your order is sold by Animation Toolkit.

Those items for shipment to countries outside of the UK may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees, the clearance of merchandise, and the process and remittal of the actual Import Fees for such items.

To obtain details regarding the Actual Import Fees, or to obtain documentation or receipts in connection with customs clearance, you may contact the Designated Carrier specified in your shipment confirmation.

These terms and conditions are in addition to the standard Terms of Service of the Animation Toolkit website. Pursuant to those terms, title and risk of loss for the items transfer to the recipient upon delivery to the common carrier in the United Kingdom.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs and/or postal authorities.

Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs and/or postal authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

If the order is a gift, be aware that the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form.

Customs authorities require the value of the gift item to be stated directly on the package.
